Kathmandu, February 4
A lawmaker associated with the ruling Nepal Communist Party, who has been closely following recent initiatives taken to resume the halted migration of Nepali workers to Malaysia, says the government will take a decision to facilitate the resumption within next one or two days.
LP Sawa Limbu, who also heads the Labour and Employment Subcommittee under Industry, Commerce, Supplies and Labour Committee in Parliament, says the government has told him about the decision.

Limbu had recently visited Kuala Lumpur to discuss the issue with Malaysian officials. He came back to Kathmandu on Saturday and submitted the report to Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security, Gokarna Bista.
“After signing the new labour agreement, efforts to end the deadlock were underway,” he informs Onlilnekhabar, “We listened to the opinions of the Malaysian Human Resource Minister. On the other hand, our government has already issued a notice to send the workers who have already received the calling visa.”
“I hope the government will make a decision in a day or two.”
